⁴ And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

²¹ (44:22) Would not God search this out? For He knoweth the secrets of the heart.

² Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, Thou understandest my thought afar off.

¹⁰ Thus saith the Lord GOD: It shall come to pass in that day, that things shall come into thy mind, and thou shalt devise an evil device;

²⁵ And Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand;

⁷ And they reasoned among themselves, saying, We took no bread. ⁸ And Jesus perceiving it, said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye took no bread?

⁸ And straightway Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?

¹⁶ And they reasoned one with another, saying, Because we have no bread. ¹⁷ And Jesus perceiving it saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? do ye not yet perceive, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?

¹⁵ Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why make ye trial of me? bring me a denarius, that I may see it.

²² But Jesus perceiving their reasonings, answered and said unto them, Why reason ye in your hearts?

⁸ But he knew their thoughts, and he said to the man that had his hand withered, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.

⁴⁰ And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Teacher, say on.

⁴⁶ And there arose a reasoning among them, which of them was the greatest. ⁴⁷ But when Jesus saw the reasoning of their heart, he took a little child, and set him by his side,

¹⁷ But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and a house divided against a house falleth.

²⁴ But Jesus did not trust himself unto them, for that he knew all men, ²⁵ and because he needed not that any one should bear witness concerning man, for he himself knew what was in man.

⁶¹ But Jesus knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at this, said unto them, Doth this cause you to stumble?

⁶⁴ But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who it was that should betray him.

¹⁹ Jesus perceived that they were desirous to ask him, and he said unto them, Do ye inquire among yourselves concerning this, that I said, A little while, and ye behold me not, and again a little while, and ye shall see me?

³⁰ Now know we that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee; by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.

¹⁷ He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonah, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things, thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

³ But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thy heart, for thee to lie to the Holy Spirit, and for thee to keep back part of the price of the land? ⁴ While it remained, did it not remain thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thy power? How is it that thou hast conceived this thing in thy heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

⁹ But Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to try the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them that have buried thy husband are at the door, and they shall carry thee out.

²⁰ But Peter said unto him, Thy silver perish with thee, because thou hast thought to obtain the gift of God with money. ²¹ Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter; for thy heart is not right before God. ²² Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thy heart shall be forgiven thee.

¹² For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart. ¹³ And there is no creature that is not manifest in his sight; but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

²³ And I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am he that searcheth the reins and hearts; and I will give unto each one of you according to your works.
