⁴⁵ Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath set over his household servants, to give them their food in due season?

² 'Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, even to the shepherds: Thus saith the Lord GOD: Woe unto the shepherds of Israel that have fed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the sheep?

²⁴ Every one therefore that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, who built his house upon the rock;

¹⁶ Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

⁵² And he said unto them, Therefore every scribe who hath been made a disciple to the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, who bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

² And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

²¹ And his lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will set thee over many things, enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

⁴¹ And Peter said, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even unto all? ⁴² And the Lord said, Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall set over his household servants, to give them their portion of food in due season? ⁴³ Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

¹⁰ He that is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much; and he that is unrighteous in a very little is unrighteous also in much. ¹¹ { If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? ¹² And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another's, who will give you that which is your own?

¹⁷ And he said unto him, Well done, thou good servant; because thou wast found faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.

He saith unto him, Tend my sheep. ¹⁷ He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonah, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things, thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

²⁸ Take heed unto yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit hath made you bishops, to feed the church of the Lord and God, which he purchased with his own blood.

¹ And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, as unto babes in Christ. ² I fed you with milk, not with meat, for ye were not yet able to bear it; nay, not even now are ye able,

¹ Let a man so account of us, as of ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. ² Here, moreover, it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

¹¹ And he gave some to be apostles, and some, prophets, and some, evangelists, and some, pastors and teachers, ¹² for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ: ¹³ till we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a fullgrown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

¹² I thank him that enabled me, even Christ Jesus our Lord, for that he counted me faithful, appointing me to his service,

² And the things which thou hast heard from me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

⁵ And Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,

¹⁰ according as each hath received a gift, ministering it among yourselves, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God, ¹¹ if any man speaketh, speaking as it were oracles of God, if any man ministereth, ministering as of the strength as God supplieth; that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, whose is the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

¹ The elders among you I exhort, who am a fellow-elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, who am also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: ² Tend the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not of constraint, but willingly, nor yet for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind, ³ neither as lording it over the charge allotted to you, but making yourselves ensamples to the flock.

¹³ I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's throne is, and thou holdest fast my name, and didst not deny my faith in the days wherein Antipas was my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwelleth.
