¹⁴ He shall glorify me; for he shall take of mine, and shall declare it unto you.

¹⁰ And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look unto Me because they have thrust him through; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first-born.

³⁹ But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believed on him were to receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

²⁶ But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall bear witness of me;

⁹ of sin, because they believe not on me, ¹⁰ of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye behold me no more,

³² This Jesus did God raise up, whereof we all are witnesses. ³³ Being therefore by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he hath poured forth this, which ye now see and hear. ³⁴ For David ascended not into the heavens; but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, ³⁵ Till I make thine enemies the footstool of thy feet. ³⁶ Let all the house of Israel therefore know assuredly, that God hath made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom ye crucified.

¹⁰ be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth this man stand here before you whole. ¹¹ He is the stone which was set at nought of you the builders, which was made the head of the corner. ¹² And in none other is there salvation; for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved.

⁸ which none of the rulers of this world hath known; for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory: ⁹ but as it is written, Things which eye saw not, and ear heard not, And which entered not into the heart of man, Whatsoever things God prepared for them that love him. ¹⁰ But unto us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

³ Wherefore I make known unto you, that no man speaking in the Spirit of God saith, Jesus is anathema, and no man can say, Jesus is Lord, but in the Holy Spirit.

¹⁴ but their minds were hardened; for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remaineth, it not being revealed to them that it is done away in Christ. ¹⁵ But unto this day, whensoever Moses is read, a veil lieth upon their heart. ¹⁶ But whensoever it shall turn to the Lord, the veil is taken away. ¹⁷ Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. ¹⁸ But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit.

⁶ Seeing it is God, that said, Light shall shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

⁵ For we through the Spirit by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.

¹⁰ Concerning which salvation the prophets sought and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: ¹¹ searching what time or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did point unto, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glories that should follow them. ¹² To whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto you, did they minister these things, which now have been announced unto you through them that preached the gospel unto you by the Holy Spirit sent forth from heaven, which things angel desire to look into.

⁷ For you therefore that believe is the preciousness; but for such as disobey, The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner,

²³ And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as he gave commandment.

¹³ hereby we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. ¹⁴ And we have beheld and bear witness that the Father hath sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

⁶ This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ, not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is the truth.

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

¹⁰ And I fell down before his feet to worship him. And he saith unto me, See thou do it not; I am a fellow-servant with thee and with thy brethren that hold the testimony of Jesus; worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
