⁷ They lie all night naked without clothing, and have no covering in the cold.

⁴⁰ Thus I was: in the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night; and my sleep fled from mine eyes.

²⁶ (22:25) If thou at all take thy neighbour's garment to pledge, thou shalt restore it unto him by that the sun goeth down; ²⁷ (22:26) for that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin; wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto Me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.

¹¹ Thou shalt stand without, and the man to whom thou dost lend shall bring forth the pledge without unto thee. ¹² And if he be a poor man, thou shalt not sleep with his pledge; ¹³ thou shalt surely restore to him the pledge when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his garment, and bless thee; and it shall be righteousness unto thee before the LORD thy God.

⁶ For thou hast taken pledges of thy brother for nought, and stripped the naked of their clothing.

¹⁰ So that they go about naked without clothing, and being hungry they carry the sheaves;

¹⁹ If I have seen any wanderer in want of clothing, or that the needy had no covering; ²⁰ If his loins have not blessed me, and if he were not warmed with the fleece of my sheep; ²¹ She is not afraid of the snow for her household; for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

⁷ Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him, and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

³¹ So the churches throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace, being edified, and, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, was multiplied.
