¹⁹ Brethren, if any among you err from the truth, and one convert him,

²¹ Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, that do err from Thy commandments.

¹¹⁸ Thou hast made light of all them that err from Thy statutes; for their deceit is vain.

²⁷ Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.

¹² As for My people, a babe is their master, and women rule over them. O My people, they that lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

⁴ The weak have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought back that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force have ye ruled over them and with rigour.

¹⁶ I will seek that which was lost, and will bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick; and the fat and the strong I will destroy, I will feed them in justice.

¹⁵ And if thy brother sin against thee, go and show him his fault between thee and him alone; if he hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

³² but I made supplication for thee, that thy faith fail not, and do thou, when once thou hast turned again, establish thy brethren.

¹ Brethren, even if a man be overtaken in any trespass, ye who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, looking to thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

¹⁰ For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil; which some reaching after have been led astray from the faith, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

²¹ which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen.

¹⁸ men who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already, and overthrow the faith of some.

¹² Wherefore lift up the hands that hang down, and the palsied knees, ¹³ and make straight paths for your feet, that that which is lame be not turned out of the way, but rather be healed.

¹⁴ But if ye have bitter jealousy and faction in your heart, glory not and lie not against the truth.

²⁰ let him know, that he who converteth a sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall cover a multitude of sins.

¹⁷ Ye therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware lest, being carried away with the error of the wicked, ye fall from your own stedfastness.

¹¹ Woe unto them! For they went in the way of Cain, and ran riotously in the error of Balaam for hire, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah.

²² And on some have mercy, making a distinction, ²³ and some save with fear, snatching them out of a fire, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
