⁶ but Christ as a son, over his house, whose house are we, if we hold fast our boldness and the glorying of our hope firm unto the end.

⁶ 'Truly it is I that have established My king upon Zion, My holy mountain.' ⁷ I will tell of the decree: the LORD said unto me: 'Thou art My son, this day have I begotten thee.

¹² Do homage in purity, lest He be angry, and ye perish in the way, when suddenly His wrath is kindled. Happy are all they that take refuge in Him.

⁶ (9:5) For a child is born unto us, a son is given unto us; and the government is upon his shoulder; and his name is called Pele- joez-el-gibbor-Abi-ad-sar-shalom; ⁷ (9:6) That the government may be increased, and of peace there be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it through justice and through righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts doth perform this.

²² And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake; but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.

¹⁸ And I also say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

¹³ But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.

³⁵ The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. ³⁶ He that believeth on the Son hath eternal life, but he that obeyeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.

² through whom also we have had our access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

²² Behold then the goodness and severity of God; toward them that fell, severity, but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness; otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

¹² rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing stedfastly in prayer,

¹³ Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

¹⁶ Know ye not that ye are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

¹⁹ Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own,

¹⁶ And what agreement hath a temple of God with idols? for ye are a temple of the living God, even as God said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

⁹ And let us not be weary in well-doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

²¹ in whom each several building, fitly framed together, groweth into a holy temple in the Lord, ²² in whom ye also are builded together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.

²³ if so be that ye continue in the faith, grounded and stedfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel which ye heard, which was preached in all creation under heaven, whereof I Paul was made a minister.

¹⁶ Rejoice always,

¹⁶ Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace,

¹⁵ but if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how men ought to behave themselves in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

² whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds,

² who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house. ³ For he hath been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by so much as he that built the house hath more honor than the house.

¹⁴ for we are become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm unto the end:

¹¹ Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, that no man fall after the same example of disobedience.

¹⁴ Having then a great high priest, who hath passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

¹¹ And we desire that each one of you may show the same diligence unto the fullness of hope even to the end:

²³ let us hold fast the confession of our hope that it waver not, for he is faithful that promised:

³⁵ Cast not away therefore your boldness, which hath great recompense of reward.

³⁸ But the righteous one shall live by faith; And if he shrink back, my soul hath no pleasure in him. ³⁹ But we are not of them that shrink back unto perdition, but of them that have faith unto the saving of the soul.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy begat us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, ⁴ unto an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, ⁵ who by the power of God are guarded through faith unto a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. ⁶ Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, ye have been put to grief in manifold trials,

⁸ whom not having known ye love, on whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

⁵ ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

¹⁸ And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet are like unto burnished brass;

²⁵ Nevertheless that which ye have, hold fast till I come.

¹¹ I come quickly; hold fast that which thou hast, that no one take thy crown.
