³ God cometh from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covereth the heavens, and the earth is full of His praise.

²¹ And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran; and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

¹¹ And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.

¹⁶ And it came to pass on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of a horn exceeding loud; and all the people that were in the camp trembled. ¹⁷ And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount. ¹⁸ Now mount Sinai was altogether on smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire; and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. ¹⁹ And when the voice of the horn waxed louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice. ²⁰ And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, to the top of the mount; and the LORD called Moses to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

¹⁸ (20:15) And all the people perceived the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the voice of the horn, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled, and stood afar off.

¹⁵ And Moses went up into the mount, and the cloud covered the mount. ¹⁶ And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days; and the seventh day He called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. ¹⁷ And the appearance of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.

¹² And the children of Israel set forward by their stages out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud abode in the wilderness of Paran. -

²⁴ (5:21) and ye said: 'Behold, the LORD our God hath shown us His glory and His greatness, and we have heard His voice out of the midst of the fire; we have seen this day that God doth speak with man, and he liveth.

² And he said: The LORD came from Sinai, and rose from Seir unto them; He shined forth from mount Paran, and He came from the myriads holy, at His right hand was a fiery law unto them.

⁴ LORD, when Thou didst go forth out of Seir, when Thou didst march out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, the heavens also dropped, yea, the clouds dropped water. ⁵ The mountains quaked at the presence of the LORD, even yon Sinai at the presence of the LORD, the God of Israel.

¹ And Samuel died; and all Israel gathered themselves together, and lamented him, and buried him in his house at Ramah. And David arose, and went down to the wilderness of Paran.

² (3:3) Many there are that say of my soul: 'There is no salvation for him in God.' Selah

⁴ (3:5) With my voice I call unto the LORD, and He answereth me out of His holy mountain. Selah

⁴ (4:5) Tremble, and sin not; commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah

¹⁶ (9:17) The LORD hath made Himself known, He hath executed judgment, the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah

²⁰ (9:21) Set terror over them, O LORD; let the nations know they are but men. Selah

¹⁰ (48:11) As is Thy name, O God, so is Thy praise unto the ends of the earth; Thy right hand is full of righteousness.

⁷ (68:8) O God, when Thou wentest forth before Thy people, when Thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah ⁸ (68:9) The earth trembled, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God; even yon Sinai trembled at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

¹⁷ (68:18) The chariots of God are myriads, even thousands upon thousands; the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in holiness.

³ The sea saw it, and fled; the Jordan turned backward. ⁴ The mountains skipped like rams, the hills like young sheep. ⁵ What aileth thee, O thou sea, that thou fleest? thou Jordan, that thou turnest backward? ⁶ Ye mountains, that ye skip like rams; ye hills, like young sheep? ⁷ Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

³ And one called unto another, and said: Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory.

³ (64:2) When Thou didst tremendous things which we looked not for - Oh that Thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might quake at Thy presence! -

⁷ Of Edom. Thus saith the LORD of hosts: Is wisdom no more in Teman? Is counsel perished from the prudent? Is their wisdom vanished?

¹² So will I send a fire upon Teman, and it shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.

⁹ And thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, to the end that every one may be cut off from the mount of Esau by slaughter.

⁷ But if the ministration of death, written, and engraven on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look stedfastly upon the face of Moses for the glory of his face, which glory was passing away: ⁸ how shall not rather the ministration of the spirit be with glory? ⁹ For if the ministration of condemnation hath glory, much rather doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. ¹⁰ For verily that which hath been made glorious hath not been made glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory that surpasseth. ¹¹ For if that which passeth away was with glory, much more that which remaineth is in glory.

¹³ And every creature which is in the heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all things that are in them, heard I saying, Unto him that sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb, be the blessing, and the honor, and the glory, and the dominion, for ever and ever. Amen. ¹⁴ And the four living creatures saying the amen, and the elders fell down and worshipped.
