⁷ And I will establish My covenant between Me and thee and thy seed after thee throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee.

¹⁸ In that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying: 'Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates;

²⁴ And the LORD appeared unto him the same night, and said: 'I am the God of Abraham thy father. Fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for My servant Abraham's sake.'

¹³ And, behold, the LORD stood beside him, and said: 'I am the LORD, the God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac. The land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed.

⁶ Moreover He said: 'I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.' And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

¹⁵ And God said moreover unto Moses: 'Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel: The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you; this is My name for ever, and this is My memorial unto all generations.

⁴ And I have also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their sojournings, wherein they sojourned.

⁵ Now therefore, if ye will hearken unto My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then ye shall be Mine own treasure from among all peoples; for all the earth is Mine; ⁶ and ye shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.'

¹² And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be My people.

¹⁰ (81:11) I am the LORD thy God, who brought thee up out of the land of Egypt; open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

⁸ He hath remembered His covenant for ever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations; ⁹ The covenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath unto Isaac; ¹⁰ And He established it unto Jacob for a statute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant; ¹¹ Saying: 'Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.'

²⁶ And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell safely; when I have executed judgments upon all those that have them in disdain round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.'

²⁰ Thou wilt show faithfulness to Jacob, mercy to Abraham, as Thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

³² I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

¹⁴ But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, forbid them not; for to such belongeth the kingdom of God.

⁵⁴ He hath given help to Israel his servant, That he might remember mercy ⁵⁵ (As he spake unto our fathers) Toward Abraham and his seed for ever.

⁷² To show mercy towards, our fathers, And to remember his holy covenant, ⁷³ The oath which he spake unto Abraham our father, ⁷⁴ To grant unto us that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies Should serve him without fear, ⁷⁵ In holiness and righteousness before him all our days.

³⁹ For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.

⁴ who are Israelites, whose is the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises,

⁷ neither, because they are Abraham's seed, are they all children; but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. ⁸ That is, it is not the children of the flesh that are children of God, but the children of the promise are reckoned for a seed. ⁹ For this is a word of promise, According to this season will I come, and Sarah shall have a son.

¹⁶ Now to Abraham were the promises spoken, and to his seed. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many, but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. ¹⁷ Now this I say; A covenant confirmed beforehand by God, the law, which came four hundred and thirty years after, doth not disannul, so as to make the promise of none effect.

² wherein ye once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that now worketh in the sons of disobedience,

¹⁰ For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their mind, And on their heart also will I write them; And I will be to them a God, And they shall be to me a people:

¹⁶ But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly; wherefore God is not ashamed of them, to be called their God, for he hath prepared for them a city.
