² For if thou refuse to let them go, and wilt hold them still,

²³ And I have said unto thee: Let My son go, that he may serve Me; and thou hast refused to let him go. Behold, I will slay thy son, thy first-born.' -

² (7:27) And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs.

⁴ Else, if thou refuse to let My people go, behold, to-morrow will I bring locusts into thy border;

¹⁴ But if ye will not hearken unto Me, and will not do all these commandments; ¹⁵ and if ye shall reject My statutes, and if your soul abhor Mine ordinances, so that ye will not do all My commandments, but break My covenant; ¹⁶ I also will do this unto you: I will appoint terror over you, even consumption and fever, that shall make the eyes to fail, and the soul to languish; and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

²³ And if in spite of these things ye will not be corrected unto Me, but will walk contrary unto Me; ²⁴ then will I also walk contrary unto you; and I will smite you, even I, seven times for your sins.

²⁷ And if ye will not for all this hearken unto Me, but walk contrary unto Me; ²⁸ then I will walk contrary unto you in fury; and I also will chastise you seven times for your sins.

¹¹ (7:12) God is a righteous judge, yea, a God that hath indignation every day: ¹² (7:13) If a man turn not, He will whet His sword, He hath bent His bow, and made it ready;

²¹ (68:22) Surely God will smite through the head of His enemies, the hairy scalp of him that goeth about in his guiltiness.

²⁰ But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken.

⁸ but unto them that are factious, and obey not the truth, but obey unrighteousness, shall be wrath and indignation,

²¹ And I gave her time that she should repent, and she willeth not to repent of her fornication. ²² Behold, I cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of her works.

⁹ And men were scorched with great heat; and men blasphemed the name of God who hath power over these plagues, and they repented not to give him glory.
