³¹ And thou shalt take the ram of consecration, and seethe its flesh in a holy place.

³¹ And Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons: 'Boil the flesh at the door of the tent of meeting; and there eat it and the bread that is in the basket of consecration, as I commanded, saying: Aaron and his sons shall eat it.

¹³ And the custom of the priests with the people was, that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priest's servant came, while the flesh was in seething, with a flesh-hook of three teeth in his band;

¹⁵ Yea, before the fat was made to smoke, the priest's servant came, and said to the man that sacrificed: 'Give flesh to roast for the priest; for he will not have sodden flesh of thee, but raw.'

²⁰ And he said unto me: 'This is the place where the priests shall boil the guilt-offering and the sin-offering, where they shall bake the meal-offering; that they bring them not forth into the outer court, to sanctify the people.' ²¹ Then he brought me forth into the outer court, and caused me to pass by the four corners of the court; and, behold, in every corner of the court there was a court. ²² In the four corners of the court there were courts inclosed, forty cubits long and thirty broad; these four in the corners were of one measure. ²³ And there was a row of masonry round about in them, round about the four, and it was made with boiling-places under the rows round about. ²⁴ Then said he unto me: 'These are the boiling-places, where the ministers of the house shall boil the sacrifices of the people.'
