¹⁴ For we stretch not ourselves overmuch, as though we reached not unto you; for we came even as far as unto you in the gospel of Christ:

¹ The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

²⁴ But I make myself an account of nothing, neither do I count my life dear unto myself, so that I may accomplish my course with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

¹⁶ in the day when God shall judge the secrets of men, according to my gospel, by Jesus Christ.

¹⁸ For I will not dare to speak of any things save those which Christ wrought through me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed, ¹⁹ in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem, and round about even unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ,

¹⁰ But unto us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

⁵ What then is Apollos? and what is Paul? Ministers through whom ye believed, and each as the Lord gave to him. ⁶ I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.

¹⁰ According to the grace of God which was given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder I laid a foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let each man take heed how he buildeth thereon.

¹⁵ For though ye have ten thousand tutors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I begat you through the gospel.

¹ Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are not ye my work in the Lord? ² If to others I am not an apostle, yet at least I am to you, for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord.

¹² Now when I came to Troas for the gospel of Christ, and when a door was opened unto me in the Lord,

¹ Are we beginning again to commend ourselves? unless we need, as do some, epistles of commendation to you, or epistles of commendation from you. ² Ye are our epistle, written in our hearts, known and read of all men, ³ being made manifest that ye are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God, not in tables of stone, but in tables that are hearts of flesh.

⁴ in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn upon them.

⁶ I marvel that ye are so quickly removing from him that called you in the grace of Christ unto a different gospel, ⁷ which is not another gospel only there are some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. ⁸ But though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach unto you any gospel other than that which we preached unto you, let him be anathema.

⁵ because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,

¹¹ according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
