⁴² O LORD God, turn not away the face of Thine anointed; remember the good deeds of David Thy servant.'

³⁴ And let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him there king over Israel; and blow ye with the horn, and say: Long live king Solomon.

¹⁶ And now I ask one petition of thee, deny me not.' And she said unto him: 'Say on.'

² The kings of the earth stand up, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against His anointed:

²⁴ (89:25) But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him; and through My name shall his horn be exalted.

²⁸ (89:29) For ever will I keep for him My mercy, and My covenant shall stand fast with him.

¹ A Song of Ascents. LORD, remember unto David all his affliction;

¹⁰ For Thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of Thine anointed.

³ Incline your ear, and come unto Me; hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

¹ The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to bring good tidings unto the humble; He hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the eyes to them that are bound;

³⁴ And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he hath spoken on this wise, I will give you the holy and sure blessings of David.
