⁸ Finally, be ye all likeminded, compassionate, loving as brethren, tenderhearted, courteous:

¹³ Like as a father hath compassion upon his children, so hath the LORD compassion upon them that fear Him.

⁸ He that augmenteth his substance by interest and increase, gathereth it for him that is gracious to the poor.

⁹ 'Thus hath the LORD of hosts spoken, saying: Execute true judgment, and show mercy and compassion every man to his brother;

³³ shouldest not thou also have had mercy on thy fellow-servant, even as I had mercy on thee?

¹⁰ In love of the brethren be tenderly affectioned one to another, in honor preferring one another,

¹⁵ Rejoice with them that rejoice, weep with them that weep. ¹⁶ Be of the same mind one toward another. Set not your mind on high things, but condescend to things that are lowly. Be not wise in your own conceits.

⁵ Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus:

¹⁰ Now I beseech you, brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that ye be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

²⁶ And whether one member suffereth, all the members suffer with it, or one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

² with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love,

³¹ Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and railing, be put away from you, with all malice:

¹⁶ only, whereunto we have attained, by that same rule let us walk, let us be of the same mind.

⁸ Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ⁹ The things which ye both learned and received and heard and saw in me, these things do; and the God of peace shall be with you.

¹² Put on therefore, as God's elect, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, longsuffering,

¹ Let love of the brethren continue.

¹³ For judgment is without mercy to him that hath showed no mercy; mercy glorieth against judgment.

¹⁷ But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without variance, and without hypocrisy.

¹¹ Behold, we call them blessed that endured; ye have heard of the patience of Job, and the end wrought of the Lord, see that he is full of pity, and merciful.

²² Seeing ye have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another from a pure heart fervently:

¹⁷ Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

⁵ Likewise, ye younger, be subject unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another. Gird yourselves with humility, for God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.

⁷ and in your godliness brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness love.

¹⁴ We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

¹⁸ My Little children, let us not love in word, neither with the tongue, but in deed and truth. ¹⁹ And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him:
