⁴¹ Even though they were still skeptical due to their joy and astonishment, Jesus asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?”

²⁶ where they informed their father, “Joseph is still alive! As a matter of fact, he’s ruling the entire land of Egypt.” But Jacob didn’t believe them, because he had become cynical. ²⁷ However, as soon as his sons had told him everything Joseph had said, and after he saw the wagons that Joseph had sent along to carry him, their father Jacob’s spirit was encouraged.

²² Now you are having pain. But I’ll see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.

They answered him, “No.”

¹⁰ Jesus told them, “Bring me some of the fish you’ve just caught.” ¹¹ So Simon Peter went aboard and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish—153 of them. And although there were so many of them, the net was not torn.
¹² Then Jesus told them, “Come, have breakfast.” Now none of the disciples dared to ask him, “Who are you?”, because they knew it was the Lord. ¹³ Jesus took the bread, gave it to them, and did the same with the fish.
