³² And they said to each other, Did not our hearts burn within us, as he talked with us on the road, and as he distinctly opened to us the scriptures?

⁴⁵ Then opened he thoroughly their understanding, that they should understand the scriptures,

⁶³ The Spirit is the life-giving power; the flesh contributeth nothing: the declarations which I make to you, they are spirit, and they are life.
