⁴³ And whence is this favour shewn me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

¹⁴ But John earnestly withheld him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

¹¹ Because this day there is born for you a Saviour, which is Messiah, the Lord, in the city of David.
