³⁹ But when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught up Philip, and the eunuch saw him no more: then he went on his way rejoicing.

¹⁶ And Jesus, after his baptism, came straight from the water: and lo! the heavens were opened for him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as it were a dove, and coming upon him:

⁴⁴ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hid in a field: which when a man findeth, he hideth, and for joy thereof, goeth away and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

¹⁰ And immediately on going up from the water, he saw the heavens divided by a chasm, and the Spirit as a dove descending upon him:

⁸ And there was great joy in that city.

⁵² And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.

³⁴ And when he had brought them into his house, he spread the table, and greatly rejoiced with all his household, believing in God.

² by whom also we have had an introduction through faith into this grace in which we have stood fast, and are rejoicing in hope of the glory of God.

¹⁰ And again he saith, "Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people." ¹¹ And again, "Praise the Lord, all ye nations, and laud him, all ye people." ¹² And again Isaiah saith, "There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that ariseth to reign over the Gentiles, in him shall the Gentiles trust." ¹³ Now the God of hope fill you with all joy, and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Ghost.

² I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body I know not, or whether out of the body I know not: God knoweth;) such a one was caught up unto the third heavens. ³ And I knew such a man, (whether in the body or out of the body I know not: God knoweth,) ⁴ that he was caught up into paradise, and heard ineffable words, which it is not permitted to man to speak.

³ For we are the circumcision, who serve God in spirit, and glory in Christ Jesus, and put no confidence in the flesh.

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say, Rejoice.

⁹ Let the brother low in station rejoice in his elevation: ¹⁰ but the rich, in his abasement: for as the flower of grass he shall pass away.

¹⁶ But now ye glory in your proud boastings: all such glorying is wicked.
