¹⁸ and I will be as a father unto you, and ye shall be to me for sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."

¹² But as many as did receive him, on them he bestowed authority to become children of God, even on those who believe on his name:

¹⁴ For as many as are guided by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. ¹⁵ For ye have not received a spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye have received a Spirit of adoption, by which we cry, Abba, Father. ¹⁶ The same spirit beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. ¹⁷ But if children, then heirs; heirs indeed of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be we suffer with him, that we may also together with him be glorified.

²⁹ For whom he foreknew, he predestinated also to a conformity with the image of his Son, that he might be the first-begotten among many brethren.

²⁶ For ye are all the sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

⁵ that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. ⁶ But because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father! ⁷ Therefore thou art no more a slave, but a son, and if a son, an heir also of God through Christ.

⁵ having predestinated us for his adopted children by Jesus Christ unto himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

¹ BEHOLD, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God! therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. ² Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it is not yet evident what we shall be: but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him; because we shall see him as he is.

⁸ I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, saith the Lord, who is, and who was, and who is coming—the Almighty.

⁷ He that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be to him a God, and he shall be to me a son.

²² And I saw no temple therein; for the Lord God Almighty is the temple thereof, even the Lamb.
