⁴⁵ And I will walke at liberty, for I seke thy commaundementes.

¹⁹ I am a straunger vpon earth, O hyde not thy commaundementes from me.

⁷¹ It is good for me that I haue bene in trouble, that I maye learne thy statutes.

¹² So that yf thou goest therin, there shall no straytenes hynder the: and when thou runnest, thou shalte not fall.

¹ He accompanieth hym selfe with all steadfast & helth some doctryne, that hath a feruent desyre to it and is sequestrate from companye.

¹³ & dyd applie my mynde to seke out & search for the knowledge of all thinges that are done vnder heauen. Soch trauayle and labour hath God geuen vnto the children of men, to excercyse them selues therin.

¹⁸ The sprete of the Lord vpon me, because he hath annoynted me: to preache the Gospell to the pore he hath sent me: to heale the broken harted, to preach delyueraunce to the captyue, & syght to the blynde: frely to set at liberte them that are brosed,

³⁹ Search the scriptures, for in them ye thinke ye haue eternall lyfe & they are they which testify of me.

³⁰ As he spake these wordes, many beleued on him. Then sayde Iesus to those Iewes, which beleued on him: ³¹ If ye continue in my worde, then are ye my very disciples, ³² and ye shall knowe the trueth: and the trueth shall make you free. ³³ They answered him: We be Abrahams seed, and were neuer bonde to eny man: how sayest thou then: ye shalbe made fre? ³⁴ Iesus answered them: verely, verely I saye vnto you, that whosoeuer committeth sinne, ³⁵ is the seruaunte of sinne. And the seruaunt abydeth not in the house for euer. ³⁶ But the sonne abydeth euer. If the sonne therfore shal make you fre, then are ye fre in dede.

¹⁷ Wherfore, be ye not vnwyse, but vnderstande what the wyll of the Lorde is,

²⁵ But who so loketh in the parfayt lawe of libertye, and contynueth therin (yf he be not a forget full hearer, but a doar of the worke) the same shalbe happye in his dede.

¹² So speake ye, and so do, as they that shalbe iudged by the lawe of libertye.

¹⁹ while they promes them libertie, where as they them selues are the bonde seruauntes of corruption. For of whom a man is ouer come, vnto the same is he brought in bondage.
