²⁰ And why? the wicked shall haue no posterite, and the candle of the vngodly shall be put out.

⁵ Yee, the light of the vngodly shall be put out? and the sparke of hys fyre shall not burne. ⁶ The lyght shalbe darcke in his dwelling, and his candle shalbe put out with him.

¹⁷ How oft shall the candle of the wycked be put out? how oft commeth their destruccion vpon them? O what sorowe shal God geue them for their parte in hys wrath?

¹⁷ The wycked shall be turned vnto hell, & all people that forget God:

⁶ Upon the vngodly he shall rayne snares, fyre, and brymstone, storme & tempest: thys shalbe theyr porcyon to dryncke.

⁹ The lyght of the ryghteous maketh ioyfull, but the candle of the vngodly shalbe put out.

²⁰ Whoso curseth hys father & mother: his lyght shalbe put out in the myddest of darcknes.

¹⁸ for the ende is not yet come, & thy pacient abydynge shall not be in vayne.

¹¹ But wo be to the vngodly and vnryghteous, for they shalbe rewarded after theyr worckes.

¹² but the children of the kyngdome shalbe cast out into vtter darcknes: there shalbe weping and gnasshing of teth.

⁸ So the folysshe sayde vnto the wyse: geue vs of youre oyle: for oure lampes are gone out.

¹³ They are the ragynge waues of the see, fomynge out their awne shame. They are wandrynge sterres, to whom is reserued the myst of darcknes for euer.
