¹⁷ And he that kylleth any man, let hym dye the death.

⁵ Els your bloude of your lyues wyll I requyre. From the hande of euery beaste wyll I requyre it, and from the hande of man: From the hande of mans brother wyll I requyre the lyfe of man. ⁶ Who so sheddeth mannes bloude, by man shall hys bloude be shedde: For in the ymage of God, dyd God make man.

¹² He that smyteth a man that he dye, shalbe slayne for it. ¹³ If a man laye not awayte but God delyuer hym into hys hande, then I wyll poynte the a place whether he shall fle. ¹⁴ If a man come presumpteously vpon hys neyghboure to slee him with gyle, thou shalt take him fro myne alter that he dye.

³⁰ Whosoeuer kylleth a soule, the same the manslayer must be slayne him selfe thorowe witnesses. Nether shall one witnesse answere to put a man to death. ³¹ Moreouer, ye shall take none amendes for the lyfe of the murtherer which is worthy to dye: But he shall be put to death.

¹¹ But and yf any man hate hys neyghboure, and laye awayte for hym, and ryse agaynst hym, and smyte him that he dye, and then flyeth vnto any of these cyties: ¹² the elders of his cytie shall sende, and fetche him thence, and delyuer hym into the handes of the iustyce of bloude, that he maye dye.

²⁴ Cursed be he that smyteth his neyghboure secretly, and all the people shall saye, Amen.
