Isaiah 5:1-7

Isaiah 44:23

Mark 12:1-9

1 And he beganne to speake vnto them by parables. A certayne man planted a vyneyarde, and compassed it aboute wt an hedge, and ordeined a wyne presse, and bylt a toure, and let it out to hyre vnto husbandmen, and went into a straunge countre. 2 And when the tyme was come, he sent to the husbandmen a seruaunt, that he myght receaue of the husbandmen of the frute of the vyneyarde. 3 And they caught hym, and bet hym, and sent hym awaye agayne emptye. 4 And moreouer, he sent vnto them another seruaunt, and at hym they cast stones and brake hys heed, & sent him awaye agayne all to reuyled. 5 And agayne, he sent another, and him they kylled: and many other, beatynge some, and kyllinge some. 6 And so whan he had yet but one beloued sonne, he sent him also at the last vnto them, sayinge: they wyll feare my sonne. 7 But the husbandmen sayd amongest them selues: this is the heyre: come let vs kyl him, & the inheritaunce shalbe oures. 8 And they toke him & kylled him, & cast hym out of the vyneyard. 9 What shall therfore the Lorde of the vyneyarde do? He shall come, ad destroye the husbandmen, & let out the vyneyarde vnto other.

Luke 20:9-16

9 Then beganne he to put forth to the people thys parable: A certayne man planted a vyneyarde, and let it forth to husband men, and went hym selfe into a straunge countre for a greate season. 10 And when the tyme was come, he sent a seruaunt to the husband men, that they shulde geue hym of the frute of the vineyarde. I wyll sende my deare sonne: peraduenture they will stande in awe of him, when they se hym. 14 But when the husbandmen sawe hym, they thought within them selues, sayinge: this is the heyre, come, let vs kyll hym, that the enheritaunce maye be oures. 15 And they cast him out of the vineyarde, & kylled him. What shall the Lord of the vineiarde therfore do vnto them? 16 He shall come, & destroye these husbandmen, & shall let out hys vineyarde to other. When they hearde thys, they sayde: God forbyd.

John 15:1-6

1 I am the true vyne, and my father is the husbandman. 2 Euery braunche that beareth not frute in me, he will take awaye. And euery braunche that beareth frute, will he pourge, that it maye bring forth more frute. 3 Nowe are ye cleane thorow the wordes which I haue spoken vnto you. 4 Byde in me, and I in you. As the braunche cannot beare frute of it selfe, excepte it byde in the vyne: nomore can ye, except ye abyde in me. 5 I am the vyne, ye are the braunches. He that abydeth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth moche frute. For without me can ye do nothing. 6 If a man byde not in me, he is cast forth as a braunche, & is wythered: and men gather them: and cast them into the fyre, and they burne.
