²⁹ Then fleed Moses at that saying, and was a straunger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sonnes.

¹³ These all dyed accordinge to fayth, whan they had not receaued the promises: but sawe them a farre of, and beleued them, & saluted them, and confessed, that they were straungers and pilgrems on the erthe.

¹¹ Dearly beloued, I beseche you as straungers and pylgrems, abstayne from fleshly lustes, which fyght against the soule,
