1 John 5:12 Cross References - Goodspeed

¹² Whoever has the Son has life; whoever has not the Son has not life.

¹⁶ He who believes it and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe it will be condemned.

¹² But to all who did receive him and believe in him he gave the right to become children of God,

¹⁵ so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life."

³⁶ Whoever believes in the Son possesses eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not experience life, but will remain under the anger of God.

²⁴ I tell you, whoever listens to my message and believes him who has sent me, possesses eternal life, and will not come to judgment, but has already passed out of death into life.

³⁰ But you are his children, through your union with Christ Jesus, whom God has made our wisdom—our uprightness and consecration and redemption,

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ that lives in me. The life I am now living in the body I am living by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me.

¹⁴ For we are true partners with Christ if we really keep the conviction that we had at first unshaken to the very end.

²³ No one who disowns the Son can have the Father. Whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father too. ²⁴ Keep what you have heard from the beginning in your hearts; then you will always be in union with the Son and the Father.

⁹ Anyone who goes too far and does not keep to the teaching of Christ has not God. It is the man who holds to the teaching who has both the Father and the Son.
