⁴¹ There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory: ⁴² So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: ⁴³ it is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. ⁴⁴ It is sown a psychical body; it is raised a pneumatical body. If there is a psychical body, there is also a pneumatical (body). ⁴⁵ As indeed it has been written; The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last man Adam, a life-creating spirit. ⁴⁶ But that which is spiritual was not first, but that which is animal; afterward that which is spiritual. ⁴⁷ The first man was from the earth, earthy: the second man from heaven. ⁴⁸ As was the earthy, such are they also who are earthy; and as was the heavenly, such are they also who are heavenly. ⁴⁹ And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we must also bear the image of the heavenly. ⁵⁰ But I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood are not able to inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption. ⁵¹ Behold, I speak to you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, ⁵² in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. ⁵³ For it behooves this corruptible to put on incorruption, and this mortal to put on immortality. ⁵⁴ But when this corruptible may put on incorruption, and this mortal may put on immorality, then shall the word which has been written be fulfilled, Death is swallowed up in victory.

⁵⁸ So, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

⁵ Hear, my beloved brethren. Has not God chosen the poor in the world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to those who love him with divine love?

³ And I heard a great voice speaking from the throne, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with the people, and he will tabernacle with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them: ⁴ and he will wipe every tear out of their eyes; and there will be no more death, neither will there be any more sorrow, nor crying, nor pain: because the former things have passed away. ⁵ And the one sitting on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he says, Write: that these words are faithful and true.

²² And I saw no temple in it: for the Lord God Almighty, and the Lamb, is its temple. ²³ And the city has no need of the sun, nor of the moon, that they may light it:
