³⁹ and the enemy sowing them is the devil: and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are the angels.

²⁵ And while the men slept, an enemy came, and sowed tares in the midst of the wheat, and departed.

²⁸ And he said to them, A hostile man did this. And the servants say to him, Then do you wish that we, having gone, may gather them?

⁴⁹ So it will be in the end of the age: the angels will go forth, and will separate the wicked from the midst of the righteous,

³ And He sitting upon the Mount of Olives; the disciples came to Him privately, saying, Tell us, when these things shall be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming and the end of the age?

³¹ But when the Son of min may come in His glory, and all His angels with Him, then will He sit upon the throne of His glory:

²⁰ teaching them to observe all things which I commanded you. And lo, I am with you all the days, unto the end of the age.

¹⁷ For we are not as many, corrupting the word of God: but as of purity, but as from God, we speak in Christ, in the presence of God.

³ but I fear, lest, as the serpent beguiled Eve by his craftiness, your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity which is in Christ.

¹³ For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. ¹⁴ And no wonder; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. ¹⁵ Then it is no great wonder if his ministers are transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose, end shall be according to their works.

² in which at one time you walked about according to the age of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit which is now working in the sons of disobedience;

¹¹ Put on the panoply of God, that you may be able to stand against the methods of the devil, ¹² because there is not to us fighting against blood and flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the heavenlies.

⁷ and to you who are troubled, rest with us, in the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with the angels of his power ⁸ in the fire of flame, dispensing vengeance to those who know not God, and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus: ⁹ who shall suffer vengeance, eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might, ¹⁰ when he may come to be glorified among his saints, and among all those who believe, to be wondered at in that day, because our testimony was believed by you.

⁸ then indeed will the lawless one be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will remove by the spirit of his mouth, and will exterminate by the brightness of his coming; ⁹ whose coming is according to the energy of Satan in all power and signs and wonders of falsehood, ¹⁰ and in all the deception of unrighteousness to those who perish; because they did not receive the divine love of the truth, that they might be saved. ¹¹ And on this account God sends to them the working of delusion, that they should believe a lie:

²⁶ since it behooved him frequently to suffer from the foundation of the world: but now in the end of the ages he has been made manifest unto the removal of sin through the sacrifice of himself.

⁸ Be sober, watch. The devil is walking round like a roaring lion, seeking some one to devour:

¹⁴ And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied against these, saying, Behold, the Lord came with his myriads of saints,

⁹ And the great dragon, the old serpent, the one called the devil, and Satan, the one deceiving the whole world, was cast out: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

¹⁴ And he deceives those dwelling upon the earth through the signs which it was given unto him to perform in the presence of the beast, saying to those dwelling on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, who had the wound of the sword, and did live.

¹⁵ And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a great voice to the one sitting on the cloud, Send forth your sickle, and reap: because the hour of reaping has come; because the harvest of the earth is fully ripe. ¹⁶ And the one sitting on the cloud thrust in his sickle to the earth; and the earth was reaped. ¹⁷ And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, himself also having a sharp sickle: ¹⁸ and another angel came out from the altar, having power over the fire; and he called with a great voice to the one having the sharp sickle, Send in thy sharp sickle, and reap the clusters of the vintage of the earth; because her grapes are fully ripe. ¹⁹ And the angel cast his sickle into the earth, and reaped the vintage of the earth, and cast it into the great wine-press of the wrath of God.

²⁰ And the beast, and the false prophet along with him, who wrought miracles in his presence, by which he deceived those having received the mark of the beast, and those worshiping his image; and the two were cast alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.

² And he laid hold on the dragon, who is the old serpent, who is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, ³ and cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and put his seal on him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years may be fulfilled: after these it behooves him to be loosed a little season.

⁷ And when the thousand years may be fulfilled, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, ⁸ and he will go forth to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war: the number of them being as the sand of the sea. ⁹ And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed about the camp of the saints, even the city which is beloved: and fire came down out of the heaven, and devoured them; ¹⁰ and the devil, the one deceiving them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also, and they shall be tormented day and night unto the ages of the ages.
