⁵³ I being daily with you in the temple, you reached not out your hands unto me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

¹² And Jesus came into the temple of God, and cast out all the buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money-exchangers, and the seats of those selling the doves; ¹³ and He says to them, It has been written, My house shall be called a house of prayer: but you make it a den of thieves. ¹⁴ And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple: and He healed them. ¹⁵ And the chief priests and scribes seeing the wonderful things which He did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying; Hosanna to the son of David, were indignant,

²³ And the chief priests and elders of the people came to Him, while teaching, He having come into the temple, saying, By what authority are you doing these things? And who gave you this authority?

⁴⁵ And the chief priests and Pharisees hearing His parables, knew that He speaks concerning them. ⁴⁶ And seeking to arrest Him, they feared the multitudes, since they held Him as a prophet.

³⁷ And He was teaching in the temple during the days; and during the nights going out, He was lodging in the mountain called Mount of Olives. ³⁸ And all the people gathered in the temple to hear Him.

²⁵ Then certain ones of Jerusalemites were saying, Is not this He whom they wished to kill? ²⁶ And behold He speaks publicly, and they say nothing to Him. Whether do the rulers truly know that He is the Christ?

³⁰ Then they were seeking to arrest Him: and no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

⁴⁵ Then the officers came to the chief priests and Pharisees, and they said to them, Why did you not bring Him?

²⁷ Now my soul is troubled; and what do I say? Father, save me from this hour. But on this account I came to this hour.

³⁰ I shall no longer speak many things with you, because the prince of the world comes: and he has nothing in me;

²⁰ Truly, truly, I say unto you, that you will weep and mourn, and the world will rejoice; you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. ²¹ When a woman may bring forth she has sorrow, because her hour has come: but when the little child may be born, she remembers her suffering no more, for the joy that a man has been born into the world. ²² Therefore you indeed also now have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one taketh your joy from you.

¹⁸ to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness unto light, and from the power of Satan unto God, in order that they may receive remission of sins, and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.

³ But if indeed our gospel is hidden, it is hidden with those who are lost: ⁴ in whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who believe not, in order that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, may not shine on them. ⁵ For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. ⁶ Because God is the one, having said; Out of the darkness the light shall shine, which shone in our hearts, to the enlightenment of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

¹² because there is not to us fighting against blood and flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the heavenlies.

¹³ who delivered us from the power of darkness, and transplanted us into the kingdom of the Son of his love;

⁹ And the great dragon, the old serpent, the one called the devil, and Satan, the one deceiving the whole world, was cast out: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. ¹⁰ And I heard a great voice in the heaven saying, Now has come salvation, and power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ: because the accuser of our brethren, the one accusing them before our God day and night, is cast out. ¹¹ And they conquered him through the blood of the Lamb, and the word of their testimony; and with divine love they love not their life unto death. ¹² Therefore rejoice, O ye heavens, and those dwelling in them; woe unto the earth and the sea! because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has little time.
