⁹ Then indeed, we had fathers of our flesh who chastised us, and we endured: how much more then shall we submit to the Father of spirits, and live?

⁶ That which has been born of the flesh is flesh; and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit.

⁷ Therefore draw nigh unto God; and resist the devil, and he will flee from you:

¹⁰ Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will raise you up.
