¹⁹ For being free from all, I rendered myself servant to all, that I may gain the more.

¹⁵ But if thy brother may sin, go, and convict him between thee and him alone: if he may hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother:

²⁶ It shall not be so among you; but whosoever may wish to be great among you, shall be your servant; ²⁷ and whosoever may wish to be first among you, shall be your slave: ²⁸ as the Son of man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give His soul a ransom for many.

¹⁴ If then I, your Lord and Master, washed your feet, you ought also to wash the feet of one another. ¹⁵ For I have given unto you an example, that you may also do as I have done to you.

¹⁴ I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the barbarians; both to the wise, and the unwise:

¹⁴ if perchance I may provoke my flesh, and save some of them.

² Let each of us please his neighbor in that which is good, unto edification;

¹⁶ For what do you know, O wife, if you shall save your husband? And what do you know, O husband, if you shall save your wife?

¹ Am I not free? am I not an apostle? have I not seen the Lord Jesus? are you not my work in the Lord?

²⁰ And to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I may gain the Jews; to those under the law, as under the law, not myself being under law, that I may gain those under the law; ²¹ to those without law, I became as without law, not being without the law of God, but under the law of Christ, that I may gain those without law. ²² To the weak I became as weak, that I may gain the weak. I became all things to all men, that I may indeed save some.

³³ as I also please all in all things, seeking not my own profit, but that of the many, that they may be saved.

⁵ For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

¹ Christ has set you free with freedom, Therefore stand, and be not again entangled with the yoke of bondage.

¹³ For you were called unto liberty, brethren; only use not the liberty unto an occasion to the flesh, but through divine love serve one another.

¹⁶ Take heed to yourself and the teaching: continue in these things; for doing this you will indeed save yourself and those who hear you.

¹⁰ On account of this I endure all things for the sake of the elect, in order that they may also have the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

¹⁹ My brethren, if any one among you may err from the truth, and one may turn him back; ²⁰ let him know, that the one having turned a sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and hide a multitude of sins.

¹ Likewise, ye wives, be submissive to your own husbands; in order that, if any do not believe the word, they shall be gained through the deportment of their wives, without the word;
