²³ You have been bought with a price; be not the slaves of men.

⁸ But be ye not called Doctor: for One is your teacher; and you are all brothers. ⁹ And call no man father upon the earth: for One is your Heavenly Father. ¹⁰ Be not called teachers: because One is your teacher, Christ. ¹¹ And the great of you shall be your deacon.

²⁸ Take heed to yourselves, and all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost has placed you shepherds, to shepherdise the church of God, which He bought with His own blood.
