²⁸ As for me, it is good for me to draw neere to God: therefore I haue put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy workes.

⁶ You haue made a mocke at the counsell of the poore, because the Lord is his trust.

⁵ O Lord my God, thou hast made thy wonderfull workes so many, that none can count in order to thee thy thoughts toward vs: I would declare, and speake of them, but they are moe then I am able to expresse.

⁴ Blessed is he, whom thou chusest and causest to come to thee: he shall dwell in thy courtes, and we shall be satisfied with the pleasures of thine House, euen of thine holy Temple.

¹⁶ Come and hearken, all ye that feare God, and I will tell you what he hath done to my soule.

¹⁷ O God, thou hast taught me from my youth euen vntill nowe: therefore will I tell of thy wonderous workes,

²⁴ My tongue also shall talke of thy righteousnesse daily: for they are confounded and brought vnto shame, that seeke mine hurt.

¹⁰ For a day in thy courtes is better then a thousand other where: I had rather be a doore keeper in the House of my God, then to dwell in the Tabernacles of wickednesse.

²² And let them offer sacrifices of praise, and declare his workes with reioycing.

⁷ Returne vnto thy rest, O my soule: for the Lord hath bene beneficiall vnto thee,

¹⁷ I shall not die, but liue, and declare the woorkes of the Lord.

²⁵ The Lord is good vnto them, that trust in him, and to the soule that seeketh him. ²⁶ It is good both to trust, and to waite for the saluation of the Lord.

¹⁷ Then he came to him selfe, and said, Howe many hired seruaunts at my fathers haue bread ynough, and I die for hunger? ¹⁸ I wil rise and goe to my father, and say vnto him, Father, I haue sinned against heaue, and before thee, ¹⁹ And am no more worthy to be called thy sonne: make me as one of thy hired seruants. ²⁰ So hee arose and came to his father, and when hee was yet a great way off, his father sawe him, and had compassion, and ranne and fell on his necke, and kissed him.

¹⁹ Seeing therefore, brethren, that by the blood of Iesus we may be bolde to enter into the Holy place, ²⁰ By the newe and liuing way, which hee hath prepared for vs, through the vaile, that is, his flesh: ²¹ And seeing we haue an hie Priest, which is ouer the house of God, ²² Let vs drawe neere with a true heart in assurance of faith, our hearts being pure from an euill conscience,

⁸ Drawe neere to God, and he will drawe neere to you. Clense your handes, ye sinners, and purge your hearts, ye double minded.

¹⁸ For Christ also hath once suffered for sinnes, the iust for the vniust, that he might bring vs to God, and was put to death concerning the flesh, but was quickened by the spirit.
