Save mee, O God, by thy Name, and by thy power iudge me. ² O God, heare my prayer: hearken vnto the wordes of my mouth. ³ For strangers are risen vp against me, and tyrants seeke my soule: they haue not set God before them. Selah. ⁴ Beholde, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that vpholde my soule. ⁵ He shall rewarde euill vnto mine enemies: Oh cut them off in thy trueth! ⁶ Then I will sacrifice freely vnto thee: I wil praise thy Name, O Lord, because it is good. ⁷ For he hath deliuered me out of al trouble, and mine eye hath seene my desire vpon mine enemies.

¹⁶ The Angel, which hath deliuered me from all euill, blesse the children, and let my name be named vpon them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Izhak, that they may growe as fish into a multitude in the middes of the earth.

¹⁴ And God answered Moses, I Am That I Am. Also he said, Thus shalt thou say vnto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me vnto you. ¹⁵ And God spake further vnto Moses, Thus shalt thou say vnto the children of Israel, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Izhak, and the God of Iaakob hath sent me vnto you: this is my Name for euer, and this is my memoriall vnto all ages.

²¹ Beware of him, and heare his voyce, and prouoke him not: for he will not spare your misdeedes, because my name is in him.

⁵ And the Lord descended in the cloude, and stoode with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord. ⁶ So the Lord passed before his face, and cried, The Lord, the Lord, strong, mercifull, and gracious, slowe to anger, and abundant in goodnesse and trueth,

⁶ And ye shall bring thither your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and the offring of your hands, and your vowes, and your free offrings, and the first borne of your kine and of your sheepe. ⁷ And there ye shall eate before the Lord your God, and ye shall reioyce in all that yee put your hand vnto, both ye, and your housholdes, because the Lord thy God hath blessed thee.

¹⁹ Then came vp the Ziphims to Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doeth not Dauid hide himselfe by vs in holdes, in the wood in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the right side of Ieshimon? ²⁰ Nowe therefore, O King, come downe according to all that thine heart can desire, and our part shall be to deliuer him into the Kinges handes.

¹ Againe the Ziphims came vnto Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doeth not Dauid hide him selfe in the hill of Hachilah before Ieshimon?

²⁴ And beholde, like as thy life was much set by this day in mine eyes: so let my life be set by in the eyes of the Lord, that he may deliuer me out of all tribulation.

⁹ Then Dauid answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sonnes of Rimmon the Beerothite, and saide vnto them, As the Lord liueth, who hath deliuered my soule out of al aduersity,

¹⁸ And the spirit came vpon Amasai, which was the chiefe of thirtie, and he said, Thine are we, Dauid, and with thee, O sonne of Ishai. Peace, peace be vnto thee, and peace be vnto thine helpers: for thy God helpeth thee. Then Dauid receiued them, and made them captaines of the garison.

⁶ And saide, O Lord God of our fathers, art not thou God in heauen? and reignest not thou on all the kingdomes of the heathen? and in thine hande is power and might, and none is able to withstand thee.

¹³ He hath remooued my brethre farre from me, and also mine acquaintance were strangers vnto me. ¹⁴ My neighbours haue forsaken me, and my familiars haue forgotten me. ¹⁵ They that dwel in mine house, and my maydes tooke me for a stranger: for I was a stranger in their sight.

⁸ Leade me, O Lord, in thy righteousnes, because of mine enemies: make thy way plaine before my face.

¹⁷ I wil praise the Lord according to his righteousnes, and will sing praise to the Name of the Lord most high.

³ Beholde, and heare mee, O Lord my God: lighten mine eyes, that I sleepe not in death:

⁸ I haue set the Lord alwayes before me: for hee is at my right hand: therefore I shall not slide.

¹³ Be thou exalted, O Lord, in thy strength: so will we sing and prayse thy power.

¹⁶ For dogges haue compassed me, and the assemblie of the wicked haue inclosed me: they perced mine hands and my feete.

⁶ This poore man cryed, and the Lord heard him, and saued him out of all his troubles.

¹⁹ Great are the troubles of the righteous: but the Lord deliuereth him out of them all.

³⁴ Waite thou on the Lord, and keepe his way, and he shall exalt thee, that thou shalt inherite the lande: when the wicked men shall perish, thou shalt see.

¹⁴ Let them be confounded and put to shame together, that seeke my soule to destroye it: let them be driuen backward and put to rebuke, that desire mine hurt.

¹² And as for me, thou vpholdest me in mine integritie, and doest set me before thy face for euer.

¹ Judge me, O God, and defend my cause against the vnmercifull people: deliuer mee from the deceitfull and wicked man. ² For thou art the God of my strength: why hast thou put me away? why goe I so mourning, when the enemie oppresseth me?

¹⁰ O God, according vnto thy Name, so is thy prayse vnto the worlds end: thy right hand is full of righteousnes.

¹⁴ Offer vnto God praise, and pay thy vowes vnto the most High,

⁹ I will alway praise thee, for that thou hast done this, and I will hope in thy Name, because it is good before thy Saints.

⁴ Doe not the workers of iniquitie knowe that they eate vp my people as they eate bread? they call not vpon God.

¹⁰ The righteous shall reioyce when he seeeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feete in the blood of the wicked. ¹¹ And men shall say, Verily there is fruite for the righteous: doutlesse there is a God that iudgeth in the earth.

³ For loe, they haue layd waite for my soule: the mightie men are gathered against me, not for mine offence, nor for my sinne, O Lord. ⁴ They runne and prepare themselues without a fault on my part: arise therefore to assist me, and beholde. ⁵ Euen thou, O Lord God of hostes, O God of Israel awake to visit all the heathen, and be not merciful vnto all that transgresse maliciously. Selah.

¹⁰ My mercifull God will preuent me: God wil let me see my desire vpon mine enemies.

¹³ I will go into thine House with burnt offrings, and will pay thee my vowes, ¹⁴ Which my lippes haue promised, and my mouth hath spoken in mine affliction. ¹⁵ I will offer vnto thee the burnt offerings of fat rammes with incense: I will prepare bullocks and goates. Selah. ¹⁶ Come and hearken, all ye that feare God, and I will tell you what he hath done to my soule.

⁸ I am become a stranger vnto my brethren, euen an aliant vnto my mothers sonnes.

⁹ Helpe vs, O God of our saluation, for the glorie of thy Name, and deliuer vs, and be mercifull vnto our sinnes for thy Names sake.

¹⁴ O God, the proude are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men haue sought my soule, and haue not set thee before them.

⁴⁹ Lord, where are thy former mercies, which thou swarest vnto Dauid in thy trueth?

⁸ Doubtlesse with thine eyes shalt thou beholde and see the reward of the wicked.

¹ A Psalme or song for the Sabbath day. It is a good thing to praise the Lord, and to sing vnto thy Name, O most High,

¹¹ Mine eye also shall see my desire against mine enemies: and mine eares shall heare my wish against the wicked, that rise vp against me.

²³ And hee will recompence them their wickednes, and destroy them in their owne malice: yea, the Lord our God shall destroy them.

⁴ And the Kings power, that loueth iudgement: for thou hast prepared equitie: thou hast executed iudgement and iustice in Iaakob.

²² And let them offer sacrifices of praise, and declare his workes with reioycing.

⁸ His heart is stablished: therefore he will not feare, vntill he see his desire vpon his enemies.

¹⁷ I will offer to thee a sacrifice of prayse, and will call vpon the Name of the Lord.

⁶ The Lord is with mee: therefore I will not feare what man can doe vnto me. ⁷ The Lord is with mee among them that helpe me: therefore shall I see my desire vpon mine enemies.

¹² And for thy mercy slay mine enemies, and destroy all them that oppresse my soule: for I am thy seruant.

¹ Praise ye the Lord, for it is good to sing vnto our God: for it is a pleasant thing, and praise is comely.

¹⁰ The Name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth vnto it, and is exalted.

¹¹ For he that redeemeth them, is mightie: he will defend their cause against thee.

²⁷ Beholde, the Name of the Lord commeth from farre, his face is burning, and the burden thereof is heauy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue is as a deuouring fire.

¹⁰ Feare thou not, for I am with thee: be not afraide, for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee, and helpe thee, and will susteine thee with the right hand of my iustice.

¹ Behold, my seruaunt: I will stay vpon him: mine elect, in whom my soule deliteth: I haue put my Spirit vpon him: he shall bring forth iudgement to the Gentiles.

⁷ For the Lord God will helpe me, therefore shall I not bee confounded: therefore haue I set my face like a flint, and I knowe that I shall not be ashamed. ⁸ Hee is neere that iustifieth mee: who will contend with me? Let vs stande together: who is mine aduersarie? let him come neere to me. ⁹ Beholde, the Lord God will helpe me: who is he that can condemne me? loe, they shall waxe olde as a garment: the mothe shall eate them vp.

³⁴ But their strong redeemer, whose Name is the Lord of hostes, he shall maintaine their cause, that he may giue rest to the lande, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babel.

⁵ Trust ye not in a friend, neither put ye confidence in a counseller: keepe the doores of thy mouth from her that lyeth in thy bosome. ⁶ For the sonne reuileth the father: ye daughter riseth vp against her mother: the daughter in lawe against her mother in lawe, and a mans enemies are the men of his owne house.

²¹ And she shall bring foorth a sonne, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for hee shall saue his people from their sinnes.

²³ Behold, a virgine shalbe with childe, and shall beare a sonne, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which is by interpretation, God with vs.

²¹ And the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the sonne, and the children shall rise against their parents, and shall cause them to die.

²⁰ But the chiefe Priestes and the Elders had persuaded the people that they shoulde aske Barabbas, and should destroy Iesus. ²¹ Then the gouernour answered, and said vnto them, Whether of the twaine will ye that I let loose vnto you? And they said, Barabbas. ²² Pilate said vnto them, What shall I do then with Iesus, which is called Christ? They all said to him, Let him be crucified. ²³ Then saide the gouernour, But what euill hath he done? Then they cryed the more, saying, Let him be crucified.

³ And these things will they doe vnto you, because they haue not knowen ye Father, nor me.

¹² Neither is there saluation in any other: for among men there is giuen none other Name vnder heauen, whereby we must be saued.

³¹ What shall we then say to these thinges? If God be on our side, who can be against vs?

¹⁴ Alexander the coppersmith hath done me much euill: the Lord rewarde him according to his workes.

¹⁸ And the Lord will deliuer me from euery euil worke, and will preserue me vnto his heauenly kingdome: to whome be praise for euer and euer, Amen.

⁶ I will not faile thee, neither forsake thee:

⁶ Rewarde her, euen as she hath rewarded you, and giue her double according to her workes: and in the cup that she hath filled to you, fill her ye double.
