⁵ For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceiue many.

¹⁴ Then the Lord said vnto me, The prophets prophecie lyes in my Name: I haue not sent them, neither did I command them, neither spake I vnto them, but they prophecie vnto you a false vision, and diuination, and vanitie, and deceitfulnes of their owne heart.

²¹ I haue not sent these prophets, sayth the Lord, yet they ranne; I haue not spoken to them, and yet they prophecied.

²⁵ I haue heard what the prophets said, that prophecie lies in my Name, saying, I haue dreamed, I haue dreamed.

¹¹ And many false prophets shall arise, and shall deceiue many.

²⁴ For there shall arise false Christes, and false prophets, and shall shewe great signes and wonders, so that if it were possible, they should deceiue the very elect.

⁴³ I am come in my Fathers Name, and ye receiue me not: if another shall come in his owne name, him will ye receiue.

³⁶ For before these times, rose vp Theudas boasting himselfe, to whom resorted a number of men, about a foure hundreth, who was slaine: and they all which obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought. ³⁷ After this man, arose vp Iudas of Galile, in the dayes of the tribute, and drewe away much people after him: hee also perished, and all that obeyed him, were scattered abroad.

⁹ And there was before in the citie a certaine man called Simon, which vsed witchcraft, and bewitched the people of Samaria, saying that he himselfe was some great man. ¹⁰ To whome they gaue heede from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is that great power of God.

¹⁸ Litle children, it is the last time, and as ye haue heard that Antichrist shall come, euen now are there many Antichrists: whereby we know that it is the last time.

⁸ Therefore all that dwell vpon the earth, shall worship him, whose names are not written in the booke of life of that Lambe, which was slaine from the beginning of the world.
