³ And as he sate vpon the mount of Oliues, his disciples came vnto him apart, saying, Tell vs when these things shall be, and what signe shalbe of thy comming, and of the ende of the world.

⁶ And one saide vnto the man clothed in linen, which was vpon ye waters of the riuer, When shalbe the ende of these wonders? ⁷ And I heard ye man clothed in line which was vpon the waters of the riuer, when he helde vp his right hand, and his left hand vnto heauen, and sware by him that liueth for euer, that it shall tarie for a time, two times and an halfe: and when he shall haue accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. ⁸ The I heard it, but I vnderstood it not: the said I, O my Lord, what shalbe ye end of these things?

¹⁰ Then the disciples came, and said to him, Why speakest thou to them in parables? ¹¹ And he answered, and said vnto them, Because it is giuen vnto you, to know the secretes of the kingdome of heauen, but to the it is not giue.

³⁶ Then sent Iesus the multitude away, and went into the house. And his disciples came vnto him, saying, Declare vnto vs the parable of the tares of that fielde.

³⁹ And the enemie that soweth them, is the deuill, and the haruest is the end of the worlde, and the reapers be the Angels. ⁴⁰ As then the tares are gathered and burned in ye fire, so shall it be in the end of this world.

⁴⁹ So shall it be at the end of the world. The Angels shall goe foorth, and seuer the bad from among the iust,

¹² Then came his disciples, and saide vnto him, Perceiuest thou not, that the Pharises are offended in hearing this saying?

¹⁹ Then came the disciples to Iesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

¹ And when they drewe neere to Hierusalem, and were come to Bethphage, vnto the mount of the Oliues, then sent Iesus two disciples,

²⁷ For as the lightning commeth out of the East, and is seene into the West, so shall also the comming of the Sonne of man be.

³² Now learne the parable of the figge tree: when her bough is yet tender, and it putteth foorth leaues, ye knowe that sommer is neere. ³³ So likewise ye, when ye see all these things, know that the kingdom of God is neere, eue at ye doores.

³⁷ But as the dayes of Noe were, so likewise shall the comming of the Sonne of man be.

³⁹ And knewe nothing, till the flood came, and tooke them all away, so shall also the comming of the Sonne of man be.

⁴³ Of this be sure, that if the good man of the house knewe at what watch the thiefe would come, he woulde surely watch, and not suffer his house to be digged through.

²⁰ Teaching them to obserue all things, whatsoeuer I haue commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, vntill the ende of the worlde, Amen.

³ And as he sate on the mount of Oliues, ouer against the Temple, Peter, and Iames, and Iohn, and Andrew asked him secretly, ⁴ Tell vs, when shall these things be? and what shalbe the signe when all these things shalbe fulfilled?

⁷ Then they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what signe shall there be when these things shall come to passe?

²¹ When Peter therefore sawe him, he saide to Iesus, Lord, what shall this man doe? ²² Iesus said vnto him, If I will that he tarie till I come, what is it to thee? follow thou me.

⁷ And hee saide vnto them, It is not for you to know the times, or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his owne power,

¹ Bvt of the times and seasons, brethren, yee haue no neede that I write vnto you. ² For ye your selues knowe perfectly, that the day of the Lord shall come, euen as a thiefe in the night. ³ For when they shall say, Peace, and safetie, then shall come vpon them sudden destruction, as the trauaile vpon a woman with childe, and they shall not escape, ⁴ But ye, brethren, are not in darkenes, that that day shall come on you, as it were a thiefe. ⁵ Yee are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, neither of darkenesse. ⁶ Therefore let vs not sleepe as do other, but let vs watch and be sober. ⁷ For they that sleepe, sleepe in the night, and they that be drunken, are drunken in the night. ⁸ But let vs which are of the day, be sober, putting on the brest plate of faith and loue, and of the hope of saluation for an helmet. ⁹ For God hath not appointed vs vnto wrath, but to obtaine saluation by the meanes of our Lord Iesus Christ, ¹⁰ Which died for vs, that whether we wake or sleepe, we should liue together with him. ¹¹ Wherefore exhort one another, and edifie one another, euen as ye doe.

²⁶ (For then must he haue often suffred since the foundation of the world) but now in the end of the world hath he bene made manifest, once to put away sinne by the sacrifice of him selfe.
