²² Then was brought to him one, possessed with a deuill, both blind, and dumme, and he healed him, so that he which was blind and dumme, both spake and saw.

¹⁵ Open thou my lippes, O Lord, and my mouth shall shewe foorth thy praise.

¹⁸ And in that day shall the deafe heare the wordes of the booke, and the eyes of the blinde shall see out of obscuritie, and out of darkenesse.

³ The eyes of the seeing shall not be shut, and the eares of them that heare, shall hearken. ⁴ And the heart of the foolish shall vnderstand knowledge, and the tongue of the stutters shalbe ready to speake distinctly.

⁵ Then shall the eyes of the blinde be lightened, and the eares of the deafe be opened. ⁶ Then shall ye lame man leape as an hart, and the dumme mans tongue shall sing: for in the wildernes shall waters breake out, and riuers in ye desert.

²⁴ And his fame spread abroad through all Syria: and they brought vnto him all sicke people, that were taken with diuers diseases and torments, and them that were possessed with deuils, and those which were lunatike, and those that had the palsey: and he healed them.

³² And as they went out, beholde, they brought to him a domme man possessed with a deuill. ³³ And when the deuill was cast out, the domme spake: then the multitude marueiled, saying, The like was neuer seene in Israel. ³⁴ But the Pharises saide, He casteth out deuils, through the prince of deuils.

¹¹ And when the vncleane spirits sawe him, they fel downe before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Sonne of God.

³⁵ And straightway his eares were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and hee spake plaine. ³⁶ And he commanded them, that they should tell no man: but howe much soeuer hee forbad them, the more a great deale they published it, ³⁷ And were beyonde measure astonied, saying, Hee hath done all thinges well: he maketh both the deafe to heare, and the domme to speake.

¹⁷ And one of the companie answered, and said, Master, I haue brought my sonne vnto thee, which hath a dumme spirit: ¹⁸ And wheresoeuer he taketh him, he teareth him, and he fometh, and gnasheth his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples, that they should cast him out, and they could not. ¹⁹ Then he answered him, and said, O faithlesse generation, how long now shall I be with you! how long now shall I suffer you! Bring him vnto me. ²⁰ So they brought him vnto him: and assoone as the spirit sawe him, hee tare him, and hee fell downe on the ground walowing and foming. ²¹ Then he asked his father, How long time is it since he hath bin thus? And he said, Of a childe. ²² And oft times he casteth him into the fire, and into the water to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, helpe vs, and haue compassion vpon vs. ²³ And Iesus said vnto him, If thou canst beleeue it, al things are possible to him that beleeueth. ²⁴ And straightway the father of the childe crying with teares, saide, Lord, I beleeue: helpe my vnbeliefe. ²⁵ When Iesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the vncleane spirit, saying vnto him, Thou domme and deafe spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. ²⁶ Then the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out, and he was as one dead, in so much that many said, He is dead.

¹⁴ Then hee cast out a deuill which was domme: and when the deuill was gone out, the domme spake, and the people wondered. ¹⁵ But some of them said, He casteth out deuils through Beelzebub the chiefe of ye deuils.

¹⁸ To open their eyes, that they may turne from darknes to light, and from the power of Satan vnto God, that they may receiue forgiuenes of sinnes, and inheritance among them, which are sanctified by fayth in me.
