²³ Then they shall say to you, Behold here, or beholde there: but goe not thither, neither follow them.

²³ Then if any shall say vnto you, Loe, here is Christ, or there, beleeue it not. ²⁴ For there shall arise false Christes, and false prophets, and shall shewe great signes and wonders, so that if it were possible, they should deceiue the very elect. ²⁵ Beholde, I haue tolde you before. ²⁶ Wherefore if they shall say vnto you, Beholde, he is in the desert, goe not forth: Beholde, he is in the secret places, beleeue it not.

²¹ Then if any man say to you, Loe, here is Christ, or, lo, he is there, beleeue it not. ²² For false Christes shall rise, and false prophets, and shall shewe signes and wonders, to deceiue if it were possible the very elect. ²³ But take ye heede: beholde, I haue shewed you all things before.

⁸ And he sayd, Take heede, that ye be not deceiued: for many will come in my Name, saying, I am Christ, and the time draweth neere: follow ye not them therefore.
