³¹ And he said vnto him, Sonne, thou art euer with me, and al that I haue, is thine. It was meete that we shoulde make merie, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is aliue againe: and hee was lost, but he is found.

¹³ And hee answered one of them, saying, Friend, I doe thee no wrong: didst thou not agree with me for a penie? ¹⁴ Take that which is thine owne, and go thy way: I will giue vnto this last, as much as to thee. ¹⁵ Is it not lawfull for me to do as I will with mine owne? Is thine eye euil, because I am good? ¹⁶ So the last shalbe first, and the first last: for many are called, but fewe chosen.

²⁷ But Iesus saide vnto her, Let the children first be fedde: for it is not good to take the childrens bread, and to cast it vnto whelpes. ²⁸ Then shee answered, and saide vnto him, Trueth, Lord: yet in deede the whelpes eate vnder the table of the childrens crommes.
