¹² But go ye nowe vnto my place which was in Shilo, where I set my Name at the beginning, and beholde, what I did to it for the wickednesse of my people Israel.

⁵ But ye shall seeke the place which the Lord your God shall chose out of all your tribes, to put his Name there, and there to dwell, and thither thou shalt come,

¹¹ When there shalbe a place which the Lord your God shall chose, to cause his name to dwell there, thither shall yee bring all that I commaund you: your burnt offrings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the offring of your hands, and all your speciall vowes which ye vowe vnto the Lord:

¹ And the whole Congregation of the children of Israel, came together at Shiloh: for they set vp the Tabernacle of the Congregation there, after the land was subiect vnto them.

³¹ So they set them vp the grauen image, which Michah had made, all the while the house of God was in Shiloh.

³ And this man went vp out of his citie euery yeere, to worship and to sacrifice vnto the Lord of hostes in Shiloh, where were the two sonnes of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas Priests of the Lord.

³ So when the people were come into the campe, the Elders of Israel said, Wherefore hath the Lord smitten vs this day before ye Philistims? let vs bring the Arke of the couenant of the Lord out of Shiloh vnto vs, that when it commeth among vs, it may saue vs out of the hande of our enemies. ⁴ Then the people sent to Shiloh, and brought from thence the Arke of the couenant of the Lord of hostes, who dwelleth betweene the Cherubims: and there were the two sonnes of Eli, Hophni, and Phinehas, with the Arke of the couenant of God.

¹⁰ And the Philistims fought, and Israel was smitten downe, and fled euery man into his tent: and there was an exceeding great slaughter: for there fell of Israel thirtie thousand footemen. ¹¹ And the Arke of God was taken, and the two sonnes of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas died.

²² She sayde againe, The glory is departed from Israel: for the Arke of God is taken.

⁶⁰ So that hee forsooke the habitation of Shilo, euen the Tabernacle where hee dwelt among men, ⁶¹ And deliuered his power into captiuitie, and his beautie into the enemies hand. ⁶² And hee gaue vp his people to the sworde, and was angrie with his inheritance. ⁶³ The fire deuoured their chosen men, and their maides were not praised. ⁶⁴ Their Priestes fell by the sworde, and their widowes lamented not.

⁶ Then will I make this House like Shiloh, and will make this citie a curse to all the nations of the earth.
