¹⁹ The earth is vtterly broken downe: the earth is cleane dissolued: the earth is mooued exceedingly.

¹ Behold, the Lord maketh the earth emptie, and hee maketh it waste: hee turneth it vpside downe, and scattereth abrode the inhabitants thereof. ² And there shalbe like people, like Priest, and like seruaunt, like master, like maide, like mistresse, like bier, like seller, like lender, like borower, like giuer, like taker to vsurie. ³ The earth shalbe cleane emptied, and vtterly spoiled: for the Lord hath spoken this worde. ⁴ The earth lamenteth and fadeth away: the world is feeble and decaied: the proude people of the earth are weakened. ⁵ The earth also deceiueth, because of the inhabitantes thereof: for they transgressed the lawes: they changed the ordinances, and brake the euerlasting couenant.

⁴ And all the hoste of heauen shalbe dissolued, and the heauens shall be folden like a booke: and all their hostes shall fall as the leafe falleth from the vine, and as it falleth from the figtree. ⁵ For my sword shalbe drunken in the heauen: beholde, it shall come downe vpon Edom, euen vpon the people of my curse to iudgement. ⁶ The sword of the Lord is filled with blood: it is made fat with the fat and with the blood of the lambes and the goates, with the fat of the kidneis of the rams: for the Lord hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom. ⁷ And the vnicorne shall come downe with them and the heiffers with the bulles, and their lande shalbe drunken with blood, and their dust made fat with fatnesse. ⁸ For it is the day of the Lordes vengeance, and the yeere of recompence for the iudgement of Zion. ⁹ And the riuers thereof shall be turned into pitche, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shalbe burning pitch. ¹⁰ It shall not be quenched night nor day: the smoke thereof shall goe vp euermore: it shall be desolate from generation to generation: none shall passe through it for euer.

²³ I haue looked vpon the earth, and loe, it was without forme and voide: and to the heauens, and they had no light. ²⁴ I behelde the mountaines: and loe, they trembled and all the hilles shooke. ²⁵ I behelde, and loe, there was no man, and all the birdes of the heauen were departed. ²⁶ I behelde, and loe, the fruitfull place was a wildernesse, and all the cities thereof were broken downe at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce wrath. ²⁷ For thus hath the Lord saide, The whole lande shall be desolate: yet will I not make a full ende. ²⁸ Therefore shall the earth mourne, and the heauens aboue shall be darkened, because I haue pronounced it: I haue thought it, and will not repent, neither will I turne backe from it.

⁵ The mountaines tremble for him, and the hilles melt, and the earth is burnt at his sight, yea, the worlde, and all that dwell therein.

⁶ He stoode and measured the earth: he behelde and dissolued the nations and the euerlasting mountaines were broken, and the ancient hilles did bowe: his wayes are euerlasting.

³ And as he sate vpon the mount of Oliues, his disciples came vnto him apart, saying, Tell vs when these things shall be, and what signe shalbe of thy comming, and of the ende of the world.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and one that sate on it, from whose face fled away both the earth and heauen, and their place was no more found.
