¹⁶ And Ioseph answered Pharaoh, saying, Without me God shall answere for the wealth of Pharaoh.

¹⁴ And he answered him, I am here. Then he saide vnto him, Goe now, see whether it bee well with thy brethren, and how the flocks prosper, and bring me word againe. so hee sent him from the vale of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

⁸ Who answered him, We haue dreamed, eche one a dreame, and there is none to interprete the same. Then Ioseph saide vnto them, Are not interpretations of God? tell them me nowe.

⁶ And hee saide, Heare nowe my wordes, If there be a Prophet of the Lord among you, I will be knowen to him by a vision, and will speake vnto him by dreame.

²⁷ And he said, Seeing the Lord doeth not succour thee, howe shoulde I helpe thee with the barne, or with the wine presse?

¹⁸ That they should beseech the God of heauen for grace in this secrete, that Daniel and his fellowes should not perish with the rest of ye wise men of Babel. ¹⁹ Then was the secret reueiled vnto Daniel in a vision by night: therefore Daniel praysed the God of heauen. ²⁰ And Daniel answered and sayde, The Name of God be praysed for euer and euer: for wisedome and strength are his, ²¹ And hee changeth the times and seasons: he taketh away kings: he setteth vp kings: he giueth wisedome vnto the wise, and vnderstanding to those that vnderstand. ²² Hee discouereth the deepe and secrete things: he knoweth what is in darkenes, and the light dwelleth with him. ²³ I thanke thee and prayse thee, O thou God of my fathers, that thou hast giuen mee wisedome and strength, and hast shewed me nowe the thing that wee desired of thee: for thou hast declared vnto vs the kings matter.

²⁸ But there is a God in heauen that reueileth secrets, and sheweth the King Nebuchad-nezzar what shall bee in the latter dayes. Thy dreame, and the things which thou hast seene in thine heade vpon thy bed, is this. ²⁹ O King, when thou wast in thy bedde, thoughts came into thy mind, what should come to passe hereafter, and he that reueyleth secretes, telleth thee, what shall come. ³⁰ As for me, this secret is not shewed mee for any wisedome that I haue, more then any other liuing, but onely to shewe the King the interpretation, and that thou mightest knowe the thoughts of thine heart.

⁴⁷ Also the King answered vnto Daniel, and said, I know of a trueth that your God is a God of gods, and the Lord of Kings, and the reueiler of secrets, seeing thou couldest open this secret.

² Saw a dreame, which made me afraide, and the thoughtes vpon my bed, and the visions of mine head troubled me.

⁴² Saying, O if thou haddest euen knowen at the least in this thy day those things, which belong vnto thy peace! but nowe are they hid from thine eyes.

⁷ And hee tooke him by the right hand, and lift him vp, and immediately his feete and ankle bones receiued strength.

¹² So when Peter saw it, he answered vnto the people, Ye me of Israel, why marueile ye at this? or why looke ye so stedfastly on vs, as though by our owne power or godlines, we had made this man go?

¹⁴ But when the Apostles, Barnabas and Paul heard it, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying, ¹⁵ And saying, O men, why doe yee these things? We are euen men subiect to the like passions that yee be, and preache vnto you, that yee shoulde turne from these vaine things vnto the liuing God, which made heauen and earth, and the sea, and all things that in them are:

¹⁰ But by the grace of God, I am that I am: and his grace which is in me, was not in vaine: but I laboured more aboundantly then they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which is with me.

⁵ Not that we are sufficient of our selues, to thinke any thing, as of our selues: but our sufficiencie is of God,
