² A time to bee borne, and a time to die: a time to plant, and a time to plucke vp that which is planted.

²¹ But my couenant will I establish with Izhak, which Sarah shall beare vnto thee, the next yeere at this season.

¹ Nowe the Lord visited Sarah, as he had saide, and did vnto her according as he had promised. ² For Sarah conceiued, and bare Abraham a sonne in his olde age, at the same season that God tolde him.

²⁹ Now when the time drewe neere that Israel must dye, he called his sonne Ioseph, and sayde vnto him, If I haue nowe founde grace in thy sight, put thine hand nowe vnder my thigh, and deale mercifully and truely with me: burie me not, I pray thee, in Egypt.

²⁴ Aaron shall be gathered vnto his people: for hee shall not enter into the lande, which I haue giuen vnto the children of Israel, because ye disobeyed my commandement at the water of Meribah. ²⁵ Take Aaron and Eleazar his sonne, and bring them vp into the mount Hor, ²⁶ And cause Aaron to put off his garmentes and put them vpon Eleazar his sonne: for Aaron shall be gathered to his fathers, and shall die there. ²⁷ And Moses did as the Lord had commanded: and they went vp into the mount Hor, in the sight of all the Congregation. ²⁸ And Moses put off Aarons clothes, and put them vpon Eleazar his sonne: so Aaron dyed there in the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came downe from off the mount.

¹² Againe the Lord said vnto Moses, Go vp into this mount of Abarim, and behold ye lande which I haue giuen vnto the children of Israel. ¹³ And when thou hast seene it, thou shalt be gathered vnto thy people also, as Aaron thy brother was gathered. ¹⁴ For ye were disobedient vnto my worde in the desert of Zin, in the strife of the assemblie, to sanctifie me in the waters before their eyes. That is the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wildernesse of Zin.

²³ And I besought the Lord the same time, saying, ²⁴ O Lord God, thou hast begunne to shewe thy seruant thy greatnesse and thy mightie hande: for where is there a God in heauen or in earth, that can do like thy workes, and like thy power? ²⁵ I pray thee let me go ouer and see the good land that is beyond Iorden, that goodly mountaine, and Lebanon. ²⁶ But the Lord was angrie with me for your sakes, and would not heare me: and the Lord said vnto me, Let it suffice thee, speake no more vnto me of this matter.

⁵ So Moses the seruant of the Lord dyed there in the land of Moab, according to the worde of the Lord.

⁵ They that were full, are hired foorth for bread, and the hungrie are no more hired, so that the barren hath borne seuen: and shee that had many children, is feeble.

² And he cryed against the altar by the comandement of the Lord, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the Lord, Beholde, a child shalbe borne vnto the house of Dauid, Iosiah by name, and vpon thee shall he sacrifice the Priestes of the hie places that burne incense vpon thee, and they shall burne mens bones vpon thee.

¹⁶ And he said, At this time appointed, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a sonne. And she sayd, Oh my Lord, thou man of God, doe not lye vnto thine handmayd.

¹ Is there not an appointed time to man vpon earth? and are not his dayes as the dayes of an hyreling?

⁵ Are not his dayes determined? the nober of his moneths are with thee: thou hast appointed his boundes, which he can not passe.

¹⁴ If a man die, shall he liue againe? All the dayes of mine appointed time will I waite, till my changing shall come.

⁵ So shall God destroy thee for euer: he shall take thee and plucke thee out of thy tabernacle, and roote thee out of ye land of the liuing. Selah.

⁹ He maketh the barren woman to dwell with a familie, and a ioyfull mother of children. Prayse ye the Lord.

² And hee hedged it, and gathered out the stones of it, and he planted it with the best plants, and hee builte a towre in the middes thereof, and made a wine presse therein: then hee looked that it should bring foorth grapes: but it brought foorth wilde grapes. ³ Now therefore, O inhabitants of Ierusalem and men of Iudah, iudge, I pray you, betweene me, and my vineyarde. ⁴ What coulde I haue done any more to my vineyard that I haue not done vnto it? why haue I looked that it should bring foorth grapes, and it bringeth foorth wilde grapes? ⁵ And nowe I will tell you what I will do to my vineyarde: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten vp: I will breake the wall thereof, and it shall be troden downe:

¹ About that time was Hezekiah sicke vnto the death, and the Prophet Isaiah sonne of Amoz came vnto him, and sayd vnto him, Thus sayth the Lord, Put thine house in an order, for thou shalt dye, and not liue.

⁵ Goe, and say vnto Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord God of Dauid thy father, I haue heard thy prayer, and seene thy teares: behold, I will adde vnto thy dayes fifteene yeeres.

¹ Rejoice, O barren that diddest not beare: breake forth into ioy and reioyce, thou that diddest not trauaile with childe: for the desolate hath moe children then the married wife, sayeth the Lord.

¹⁰ Beholde, this day haue I set thee ouer the nations and ouer the kingdomes to plucke vp, and to roote out, and to destroye and throwe downe, to builde, and to plant.

⁷ I will speake suddenly against a nation or against a kingdome to plucke it vp, and to roote it out and to destroy it. ⁸ But if this nation, against whom I haue pronounced, turne from their wickednesse, I will repent of the plague that I thought to bring vpon them. ⁹ And I wil speake suddenly concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdome to builde it and to plant it. ¹⁰ But if it do euill in my sight and heare not my voyce, I will repent of ye good that I thought to do for them.

⁴ Thus shalt thou say vnto him, The Lord sayeth thus, Behold, that which I haue built, will I destroy, and that which I haue planted, will I plucke vp, euen this whole lande.

²⁸ And hee said to them, Some enuious man hath done this. Then the seruants saide vnto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them vp? ²⁹ But he saide, Nay, lest while yee goe about to gather the tares, yee plucke vp also with them the wheat.

⁴¹ The Sonne of man shall send forth his Angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which doe iniquitie,

¹³ But hee answered and saide, Euery plant which mine heauenly Father hath not planted, shalbe rooted vp.

¹³ But the Angel saide vnto him, Feare not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard, and thy wise Elisabet shall beare thee a sonne, and thou shalt call his name Iohn.

²⁰ And beholde, thou shalt be domme, and not be able to speake, vntill the day that these things be done, because thou beleeuedst not my words, which shalbe fulfilled in their season.

³⁶ And behold, thy cousin Elisabet, she hath also conceiued a sonne in her olde age: and this is her sixt moneth, which was called barren.

³⁰ Then they sought to take him, but no man layde handes on him, because his houre was not yet come.

²¹ A woman when she traueileth, hath sorowe, because her houre is come: but assoone as she is deliuered of the childe, she remembreth no more the anguish, for ioy that a man is borne into the world.

¹⁷ But when the time of the promise drewe neere, which God had sworne to Abraham, the people grewe and multiplied in Egypt,

²⁰ The same time was Moses borne, and was acceptable vnto God, which was nourished vp in his fathers house three moneths.

⁴ But when the fulnesse of time was come, God sent forth his Sonne made of a woman, and made vnder the Lawe,

²⁷ And as it is appointed vnto men that they shall once die, and after that commeth the iudgement:
