² Nowe as they ministred to the Lord, and fasted, the holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul, for the worke whereunto I haue called them.

¹¹ And Aaron shall offer the Leuites before the Lord, as a shake offring of ye childre of Israel, that they may execute the seruice of the Lord. ¹² And the Leuites shall put their handes vpon the heades of the bullockes, and make thou the one a sinne offring, and the other a burnt offring vnto the Lord, that thou mayest make an atonement for the Leuites. ¹³ And thou shalt set the Leuites before Aaron and before his sonnes, and offer the as a shake offring to the Lord. ¹⁴ Thus thou shalt separate the Leuites from among the children of Israel, and the Leuites shall be mine.

⁸ The same time ye Lord separated the tribe of Leui to beare the Arke of the couenant of the Lord, and to stand before ye Lord, to minister vnto him, and to blesse in his Name vnto this day.

¹¹ And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house, and the childe did minister vnto the Lord before Eli the Priest.

⁴ And he appointed certaine of the Leuites to minister before the Arke of the Lord, and to rehearse and to thanke and prayse the Lord God of Israel:

³ And I turned my face vnto the Lord God, and sought by prayer and supplications with fasting and sackcloth and ashes.

¹⁶ Moreouer, when ye fast, looke not sowre as the hypocrites: for they disfigure their faces, that they might seeme vnto men to fast. Verely I say vnto you, that they haue their rewarde.

¹⁴ Then came the disciples of Iohn to him, saying, Why doe we and the Pharises fast oft, and thy disciples fast not? ¹⁵ And Iesus saide vnto them, Can the children of the marriage chamber mourne as long as the bridegrome is with them? But the daies will come, when the bridegrome shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.

³⁸ Wherefore pray the Lord of the haruest, that he woulde sende foorth labourers into his haruest.

³⁷ And she was widowe about foure score and foure yeeres, and went not out of the Temple, but serued God with fastings and prayers, night and day.

¹ After these thinges, the Lord appointed other seuentie also, and sent them, two and two before him into euery citie and place, whither he himselfe should come.

⁴ And we will giue our selues continually to prayer, and to the ministration of the worde.

²⁹ Then the Spirit said vnto Philip, Goe neere and ioyne thy selfe to yonder charet.

¹⁵ Then the Lord said vnto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessell vnto me, to beare my Name before the Gentiles, and Kings, and the children of Israel.

²⁸ Take heede therefore vnto your selues, and to all the flocke, whereof the holy Ghost hath made you Ouerseers, to feede the Church of God, which hee hath purchased with that his owne blood.

²¹ Then he sayd vnto me, Depart: for I will send thee farre hence vnto the Gentiles.

¹ Paul a seruant of Iesus Christ called to be an Apostle, put apart to preache the Gospel of God,

¹⁵ And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, Howe beautifull are the feete of them which bring glad tidings of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

¹⁶ That I should be the minister of Iesus Christ toward the Gentiles, ministring the Gospel of God, that the offering vp of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the holy Ghost.

⁵ Defraude not one another, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may giue your selues to fasting and praier, and againe come together that Satan tempt you not for your incontinecie.

¹¹ And all these thinges worketh one and the selfe same Spirit, distributing to euery man seuerally as he will.

⁵ In stripes, in prisons, in tumults, in labours,

²⁷ In wearinesse and painefulnesse, in watching often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in colde and in nakednesse.

¹⁵ But when it pleased God (which had separated me from my mothers wombe, and called me by his grace)

⁸ (For he that was mightie by Peter in the Apostleship ouer the circumcision, was also mightie by me toward the Gentiles) ⁹ And when Iames, and Cephas, and Iohn, knew of the grace that was giuen vnto me, which are counted to be pillars, they gaue to me and to Barnabas the right hands of fellowship, that we should preach vnto the Gentiles, and they vnto the Circumcision,

⁷ Whereof I am made a minister by the gift of the grace of God giuen vnto me through the effectuall working of his power.

¹⁷ And say to Archippus, Take heede to the ministerie, that thou hast receiued in the Lord, that thou fulfill it.

⁷ Whereunto I am ordeined a preacher and an Apostle (I speake the trueth in Christ, and lie not) euen a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and veritie.

¹¹ Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and Apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

² And what things thou hast heard of me, by many witnesses, ye same deliuer to faithfull men, which shalbe able to teache other also.

⁵ But watch thou in all thinges: suffer aduersitie: doe the worke of an Euangelist: cause thy ministerie to be throughly liked of.

¹¹ Onely Luke is with me. Take Marke and bring him with thee: for he is profitable vnto me to minister.

⁴ And no man taketh this honor vnto him selfe, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.
