⁷ Moreouer Salomon halowed the middle of the court that was before the house of the Lord: for there hee had prepared burnt offerings, and the fatte of the peace offerings, because the brasen altar which Salomon had made, was not able to receiue the burnt offering, and the meate offring, and the fat.

¹⁴ All the chiefe of the Priestes also and of the people trespassed wonderfully, according to all the abominations of the heathen, and polluted the house of the Lord which he had sanctified in Ierusalem.

¹⁰ We haue an altar, whereof they haue no authoritie to eate, which serue in the tabernacle. ¹¹ For the bodies of those beastes whose blood is brought into the Holy place by the high Priest for sinne, are burnt without the campe. ¹² Therefore euen Iesus, that he might sanctifie the people with his owne blood, suffered without the gate.
