²⁴ For whoever willeth to save his life, loseth it; but whoever (is willing) to lose his life, for my sake, he saveth it.

³³ Whoever willeth to save his life shall lose it, and whoever is willing to lose his life shall save it.

²⁵ He who loveth his life shall lose it; and he who hateth his life in this world shall keep it to the life which is eternal.
