⁴⁶ the light am come into the world, that every one who believeth in me might not abide in darkness.

¹⁶ The people who sat in darkness the great light hath seen; and they who have sat in the region and shadow of death, the light has arisen upon them.

These spake Jeshu, and went (and) concealed himself from them.

¹⁸ to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto Aloha, and receive the forgiveness of sins, and a lot with the saints through faith, which (is) in me.

⁸ Again, a new commandment I write to you, that which is true in him and in you; because the darkness hath passed, and the true light beginneth to appear. ⁹ Whoever saith, then, that he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness until now.
