²³ And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?

⁴ I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.

¹⁰ Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

²⁵ And knowing their thoughts he said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: ²⁶ and if Satan casteth out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then shall his kingdom stand? ²⁷ And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges. ²⁸ But if I by the Spirit of God cast out devils, then is the kingdom of God come upon you. ²⁹ Or how can one enter into the house of the strong [man], and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong [man]? and then he will spoil his house. ³⁰ He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.

³⁴ All these things spake Jesus in parables unto the multitudes; and without a parable spake he nothing unto them:

² And he taught them many things in parables, and said unto them in his teaching,

¹⁷ But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house [divided] against a house falleth. ¹⁸ And if Satan also is divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils by Beelzebub. ¹⁹ And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges. ²⁰ But if I by the finger of God cast out devils, then is the kingdom of God come upon you. ²¹ When the strong [man] fully armed guardeth his own court, his goods are in peace: ²² but when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him his whole armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. ²³ He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.
