¹⁸ Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

² The LORD is my strength and song, And he is become my salvation: This is my God, and I will praise him; My father’s God, and I will exalt him.

¹⁸ but thou shalt eat them before the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. ² Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, and though the mountains be moved in the heart of the seas; ³ Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. ⁶ Wilt thou not quicken us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

¹² Be glad in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks to his holy name.

³⁴ Let my meditation be sweet unto him: I will rejoice in the LORD.

¹⁴ The LORD is my strength and song; and he is become my salvation. ¹⁵ The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

² Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

³⁰ For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,

¹² Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial among you, which cometh upon you to prove you, as though a strange thing happened unto you: ¹³ but insomuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings, rejoice; that at the revelation of his glory also ye may rejoice with exceeding joy.
