¹⁸ For I testify unto everyone that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If anyone shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book;

¹⁸ And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

²⁴ then will I also walk contrary unto you and will punish you yet seven times for your sins. ²⁵ And I will bring an avenging sword upon you, in vindication of the covenant; and ye shall gather together within your cities; but I will send pestilence among you, and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

²⁸ then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury, and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

³⁷ And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursue; and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.

² Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish anything from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

³² Keep thyself, and do all that I command you; thou shalt not add to it nor diminish from it.

⁶ Do not add unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

⁶ and now has no need to honour his father or his mother with succour. Thus ye have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition. ⁷ Ye hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying, ⁸ This people draws nigh unto me with their mouth and honours me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. ⁹ But in vain do they worship me, teaching doctrines and commandments of men.

¹³ But he answered and said, Every plant which my heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted up.

¹⁷ ¶ This I say, therefore, and require in the Lord that from now on ye not walk as the other Gentiles walk in the vanity of their own senses,

⁶ that no one oppress and defraud his brother in any matter because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

³ ¶ Blessed is he that reads and those that hear the words of this prophecy and keep those things which are written therein, for the time is at hand.

¹⁴ ¶ And unto the angel of the congregation {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} of the Laodiceans write; Behold, he who saith, Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God:

¹⁰ the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb; ¹¹ and the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever; and those that worship the beast and its image and whosoever receives the mark of its name, have no rest day or night.

¹ ¶ And I saw another sign in the heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is completed the wrath of God.

⁶ and the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. ⁷ And one of the four animals gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever. ⁸ And the temple was filled with smoke from the majesty of God and from his power; and no one was able to enter into the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

⁶ for they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they deserve it. ⁷ And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments. ⁸ ¶ And the fourth angel poured out his vial against the sun; and it was given unto it to scorch men with fire. ⁹ And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, who has authority over these plagues; and they did not repent to give him glory. ¹⁰ And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the throne of the beast; and its kingdom was filled with darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, ¹¹ and blasphemed the God of the heaven because of their pains and their sores and did not repent of their deeds. ¹² ¶ And the sixth angel poured out his vial into the great river Euphrates; and its water was dried up, that the way of the kings from the rising of the sun might be prepared. ¹³ And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. ¹⁴ For they are spirits of demons, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. ¹⁵ Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches and keeps his garments lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. ¹⁶ And he gathered them together into the place which in Hebrew is called, Armageddon. ¹⁷ ¶ And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of the heaven from the throne, saying, It is done. ¹⁸ Then there were voices and thunders and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as has never been since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. ¹⁹ And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the Gentiles fell; and Babylon the great came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. ²⁰ And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. ²¹ And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent; and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

²⁰ And the beast was taken and with it the false prophet that wrought miracles in its presence, with which he had deceived those that had taken the mark of the beast and had worshipped its image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.

¹⁰ And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

¹⁵ And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

⁷ Behold, I come quickly; blessed is he that keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.

¹⁶ I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify unto you these things in the congregations {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones}. I AM the root and the offspring of David and the bright and morning star.
