¹⁸ ¶ Without prophetic vision, the people shall perish, but he that keeps the law is blessed.

¹¹ Moreover by them is thy slave warned, and in keeping them there is great reward.

⁹ We no longer see our own banners; there is no longer any prophet: neither is there among us any that knows. How long shall this be?

² Blessed are those that keep his testimonies and that seek him with their whole heart.

¹⁶ ¶ He that keeps the commandment keeps his own soul, but he that despises his ways shall die.

⁶ ¶ My people were cut off because they lacked wisdom; because thou hast rejected wisdom, I will cast thee out of the priesthood; seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy sons.

¹¹ ¶ Behold, the days come, said the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine to the earth, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: ¹² and they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

³⁶ And when he saw the multitude, he was moved with compassion on them because they fainted and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

²⁸ But he said, Rather, blessed are those that hear the word of God and keep it.

¹⁷ If ye know these things, ye shall be blessed if ye do them.

²¹ He that has my commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves me; and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him and will manifest myself to him. ²² Judas, not Iscariot, said unto him, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us and not unto the world?strong> ²³ Jesus answered and said unto him, He who loves me will keep my words, and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him and dwell with him.

¹³ For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. ¹⁴ How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? ¹⁵ And how shall they preach if they have not been sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those that announce the gospel of peace, of those that announce the gospel of that which is good!

²⁵ But whosoever has looked attentively into the perfect law of liberty and has persevered in it, not being a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, the same shall be blessed in their deed.

¹⁴ Blessed are those who do his commandments that their power and authority might be in the tree of life and they may enter in through the gates into the city.
