⁹ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts more than your thoughts.

⁵ ¶ Thy mercy, O LORD, reaches unto the heavens, and thy truth reaches unto the clouds.

¹⁹ Thy way was in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps were not known.

² For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever in the heavens; in them thou shalt establish thy truth.

¹¹ For as the heavens are high above the earth so does he increase his mercy over those that fear him.

²⁵ ¶ At that time Jesus answered and said, I praise thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and understanding and hast revealed them unto children.

How incomprehensible are his judgments and his ways past finding out! ³⁴ For who has understood the intent of the Lord? or who has been his counsellor? ³⁵ Or who has first given unto him, that it be recompensed unto him again? ³⁶ For of him and by him and in him are all things.
